Our products have been climate neutral since their market launch. Yeah! An important milestone for our young startup. What does that mean? Together with ClimatePartner, we first precisely calculated all of our CO2 emissions: raw materials, packaging, disposal (cradle-to-gate plus end-of-life), logistics and production. To offset our CO2 emissions, we support certified climate protection projects - against plastic and for marine protection. Find out more here.

All PURISTO products are 100% “Made in Europe”. The production location plays an important role in our sustainable entrepreneurship. In order to avoid unnecessary CO2 emissions, we rely on long-term partnerships within Europe and can keep transport routes as short as possible. We have consciously decided to work with smaller production facilities and not have our products manufactured in the Far East under poor working conditions. Our suppliers must regularly demonstrate compliance with local ecological and social standards. This means we can check the high quality of our products and ensure environmental regulations at any time.

At PURISTO we attach great importance to the traceability of our materials. Certifications such as those from the Leather Working Group are therefore a matter of course for us when selecting our leather. Only manufacturers who meet the LWG's strict environmental requirements receive the seal. In addition to real leather, we are also increasingly using sustainable leather alternatives. You will look for plastic packaging with us - intentionally - in vain. Our packaging is either made from recycled cardboard or FSC certified. This seal ensures that the required forests are managed as sustainably and responsibly as possible.

At PURISTO we like to forego the car and take the bike or use public transport as often as the weather permits. This not only saves CO2, but also keeps you pretty fit! As a young startup, we are very digitally positioned and can do without paper and printers. Of course, we also love separating waste and saving electricity. :)
