OUR MATERIAL

We have high standards! Our material should actually not only look beautiful and feel so good hmmmm... it should also be functional and durable and accompany you for many years. It is also very important to us that our products can have the most positive impact possible on the environment and animals. That's why we use recycled and plant-based materials and source leather with the lowest environmental impact.

ECOLOGICALLY TANNED LEATHER

We only use the best leather from Leather Working Group gold certified tanneries. Tanneries with this certification place particular emphasis on environmental and labor practices along the entire leather value chain (water and energy consumption, waste management, air and noise pollution, and chemical management). This way we can ensure that we offer leather of first-class quality and that you can enjoy it for a long time!

BIO-BASED MATERIALS

Mirum - obtained from plants. Mirum is an innovative vegan, plastic and animal-free alternative to leather. The material developed by Natural Fiber Welding (NFW) consists of purely natural, plant-based ingredients and is the world's first 100 percent recyclable and recyclable material that can be safely returned to the earth as a nutrient at the end of its life cycle.

Our products have been climate-neutrally certified by climatepartner since their market launch. Together with ClimatePartner, we first precisely calculated all of our CO2 emissions: raw materials, packaging, disposal (cradle-to-gate plus end-of-life), logistics and production. To offset our CO2 emissions, we support certified climate protection projects - against plastic and for marine protection.

Sustainability plays an essential role for our company.

Care tips for your leather:

Has the leather gotten wet?

Oh dear! Does your wallet have a small wet spot or has it even fallen completely into a puddle? No worries! It's best to let the material dry slowly and gently in the shade without you having to do anything.

Is the leather dry and cracked?

Our products are there to accompany you for many years, but even the most robust material will show signs of fatigue at some point. But don't worry, with a colorless and preferably bio-based natural leather cream / leather care it will quickly shine back to its former glory. Simply apply in small amounts and massage in carefully and allow to dry.

Has the leather gotten dirty?

Alcohol-free zone! Please avoid cleaning agents that contain alcohol, as these are often too aggressive and can damage the leather. A damp cloth is often enough to remove the stains. If more stubborn stains need to be treated, please use leather care products with natural ingredients.

SOS! Have you tried everything and nothing helped? Then please contact our customer support and together we will find a solution!
